Kuraszewo exhibition
A series of paintings and tempera on paper dedicated to my vision of the boundless nature of the Earth, somewhere far away in the east of Poland. The small village of Kuraszewo, 16 km from Hajnówka, became an inspiration for new explorations.
I lived there in a larch house set on oval field boulders in an orchard full of old apple trees. A different stream of time flows here, because according to the Byzantine calendar we currently have the year 7532. This fact alone induces a different communion. It was here that I realized that Kuraszewo began my new experience of creating my painting language, referring to the immaterial world, the World of the Spirit. I became fascinated by Kuraszew. I also found admiration for people here, their cordiality, openness, language and culture. I have been there very often, all year round. I found new colors, materials, lines and dots here. There is the center of the universe for me. This my little Kuraszewo is great and precious for me, for my art, for my life.
But the thought goes further, rises upwards, where, as in Kazimierz Malevich, materiality becomes the beginning of a new language of art.
